EuroMembrane is an EMS event, international conference focused on membrane science and technology. It brings together researchers, engineers, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest advances in membrane technologies, including development, and applications. EuroMembrane 2024 was held under the auspices of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic, between 8 and 12 September in Prague, Czech Republic.

Pedro J. Carvalho and Isabella Souza from the University of Aveiro were present with the oral presentation "Membranes with highly selective absorbents encapsulated in submicron carbon capsules for gas separation" by the authors Isabella Souza, Beatriz Esteves, Ricardo T. Pais, Pedro J. Carvalho and the poster "Encapsulated Ionic Liquids in PEBAX® membranes for indoor air quality" with the authors Isabella M. G. de Souza, Pedro J. Carvalho.
