The 12th International Conference on Life Cycle Management (LCM 2025) took place from September 9 to 12, 2025, in Palermo, Italy, under the theme "Global to Local." As one of the world's leading forums on environmental, economic, and social sustainability, the event brought together approximately 1,000 participants, including researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers. The main focus of the conference was the practical implementation of life cycle approaches in strategic and operational decision-making, showcasing methods, tools, and best practices for an efficient and effective sustainable transition. Highlighted topics included decarbonization, circular economy, digitalization, and the harmonization of standards, consolidating the event as an essential platform for transforming life cycle thinking theory into real-impact solutions for businesses and society.
