Project #9 "Cork Composites" of the ILLIANCE Agenda was presented at the 27th DYMAT Technical Meeting 2023, which took place from November 27 to 29, 2023, in Colmar, France.
The University of Aveiro, an Agenda partner, presented the abstract "An exploratory investigation of novel composites based on cork and non-Newtonian fluids under low-velocity impact".
This project's contribution to the study of the dynamic behaviour of soft, low-density materials, in particular bio-based materials such as cork, brings innovation in line with technological sustainability.
