AMIT Kumar Baghel from the University of Aveiro attended the conference ‘International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications ICEAA 2024 and IEEE-APS Topical Conference on Antennas and Propagation in Wireless Communications IEEE APS 2024’, which took place in Liboa, Portugal between 2 and 6 September 2024, to give an oral presentation of the work ‘The Airy Wave Utilisation for mm-wave Wireless Power Transfer’ by the authors Amit Kumar Baghel, Pedro Pinho and N. Borges Carvalho. 

The work focuses on the use of the AIRY WAVES FOR THE EFFICIENT FAR-FIELD WPT system. In this, the simulation studies are done, and various parameters are optimized to show that at 20 m with the use of Airy waves, the power could be transferred efficiently. This work was presented as part of WP 4 - Project #24 ‘OLIWPT’.
