On 6 December 2024, the Plastics 360º Workshop focused on the recycling and sustainability of plastics and brought together academia and industry to explore the latest advances in polymer recovery, recycling and sustainable management. The workshop brought together 110 participants who discussed the path to effective and economically viable solutions in the area, and how to build on significant progress through continuous knowledge sharing and strong collaboration between sectors.
The University of Aveiro gave the presentation "100% Recycled Expanded Polystyrene: Reality or Utopia?" by Paula Ferreira, Mariana Rodrigues, Mariana Vala, Idalina Goncalves, João Tinoco, Raquel Araújo. This action is part of the work of WP 1 - Project #5 ‘100% recycled EPS’.
